In this report I will be discussing the relationship between two different films of an original film and a new version the first film is Jurassic park the cultural background of this film is an American science fiction adventure film which was produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R Mole in 1993.There are many different stars who have played big roles in Jurassic park. An example of an actor is Laura darn who played a role as Ellie Sattler. Laura darn is known to be a famous American actress who won four Golden Globe Awards and a Primetime Emmy Awards. Another famous actor who took part in Jurassic Park was Wayne Knight who is known as a famous American actor the role he played in Jurassic park was Newman in Seinfeld and Dennis nerdy The final star which took part in Jurassic park was Cameron Thor who was known to be a famous American actor and an interesting fact about this man was that he spent six years of his life in prison for sexual assault on a 13 year old girl however the role which he played in Jurassic park was Lewis Dodgson. The newer version of Jurassic Park which is called Jurassic world has cultural background which was made in 2018 and Is an American science fiction adventure film. which is the exact same as the older version however this film was has different producers such as frank Marshall who is a American film actor and was born13 September 1946. Another producer was Patrick Crowley who is also known as a producer and assistant director the role which he played was Flight Instructor and the Prop Plane Pilot . The older version of Jurassic park has a budget of 63 million USD. The more latest version has a budget of 73 million USD which shows that the newer version made more money from their production than the older version. The country were the funding of both films were located was the United States of America. These two films were not made from productions houses but they were created by a production company which is called Amblin Entertainment this is known as an American film and TV production. The newer version is a co - production because it has joint with other TV programs universal pictures and legendary entertainment this can also relate back to the older version of Jurassic park. The type of technology which was used to make these films were computer-generated imagery or CGI also mixed its live actions the way CGI was used in the production of Jurassic Park was using designs and prosthetics of the different dinosaurs. Such as velociraptors, brachiosauruses, and the tyrannosaurus rex. CGI was also used in Jurassic world for the indominus rex which was looking good however the CGI Raptors and other Dinosaur CGI in Jurassic World kind of pulled some audience members out of the movie. Jurassic park which is the older version is also known to be a co production film which is because it has a connections with other TV programs which is also universal pictures and legendary entertainment. Universal pictures is known to be a universal studio which was founded in 1912 by carl laemmle who is known as a famous American film maker and produced over four hundred films.This was also founded by Charles o. Baumann who a film maker from America who also died at the age of 57. universal stars has budget of239 billion in the year of 2011. Legendary entertainment is was known to be a an American media company founded by Thomas Tull in 2000 and in 2005.
Both films were disturbed by universal pictures in the UK also Jurassic world was grossed over $1.3 billion worldwide which made it the third Jurassic film to pass the billion-dollar mark. Jurassic world can be found in cinemas due to it latest release Jurassic park would not be available in many cinemas which meant people would have to buy a copy of the film or watch this film through youtube. However the cinema which Jurassic World Is being watched is in ODEON cinemas which is going to be on the 6th of june . Both of the films can fit into many different types of genres such as action films, science fiction film, adventure film. the reason why these can be the suitable genres for these films is due to the violence which can relate to action genre also exploring exotic locations which relates back to an adventure type of genre and lastly speculative, fictional science which part of science fiction film Another type of genre these films could relate to is a mystery this is because of the amount of confusion which is continuously happening through out the films and solution of a problem or a crime The genre of fantasy can be also used in these films which is due to the use of fantasy worlds the final type of genre that is used is action which is because of the physical actions such as fighting and physical feats. This also focuses on the efforts of the detective, private investigator. A Certificate was given out to these films was a PG certificate which was given to Jurassic Park on a number of counts. which saw that Jurassic Park came from a long dynasty of monster movies. This happened in the year 2015. Universal pictures have been known to distribute different movies such as The Old Doll maker which came out in 1912 another movie was sue which was also released in 1912.
