    MUSIC TRACKS (Please use these. Available on ART&MEDIA drive)1a   Initial response (See Assignment)
  1. Locate and listen to the audio track you have decided to create a music video for. Write a short individual response to the track describing how you feel the track covers all of the following elements :  
    • Music genre - see STYLES SLIDESHOW (Slide Number 3) e.g. Bubblegum Pop, Indie Pop, House, Drill, Garage, Dancehall etc
    • Style - see STYLES SLIDESHOW (Slide Number 2)
    • Length - Minimum 2 minutes and Maximum 4 minutes
    • Pace - Discuss main structure. Are you going to keep slow paced or fast or vary it between he track?
    • Meaning - What meaning do you want your audience to get?. Some things to consider - Lyric Interpretation, Illustrative MV Style, Interpretative MV Style (or combining these), themes/subject matter, mood, narrative, music genre conventions, intertextuality.
    • Imagery - Main content of the MV e.g. dance routines, setting, characters, props etc


    In my response I will be writing and discussing about the track based on my own opinion
    The audio track I have chosen is a drill music video which is called ck3 drill the sound of the beat during the video is full of a lot of violence also there is a very dark setting the length of the beat lasts at least two to three minutes long this shows how long the artist has been working on how long the song will last for.The style of this Is will be using own music video interpretive narrative which is because the beat imitates different group of music from different parts of the world. The type of imagery which have been used is people in dark clothing such as all black tracksuits and black gloves and shoes which is to make the music look more violent instead of using bright colours such as white which will make the music video look more posh. The video also has props such as Motor bikes and cars.
