In this script I will be talking about a artist which is called drake  and the music videos he has made  I have also chosen the different types of techniques the artist  has used when creating this music videos which is to make the videos more interesting and recognisable to watch.

The first video I will be looking at is gods plan which is made by Drake. This video uses the in-concert live footage style. As it shows the artists drake live on stage in front of a live audience. This video includes a style which is at the conventions which uses bright colours which helps the video stand out  for the audience. The techniques which have been used are a high angle shot of Drake standing on a high building dancing to the beat of the music in the video there is mise en scene. An example of this could be the use of bright lighting which makes the artist which is Drake be able to stand out from the background that also shows his importance of the music video also the use of background lighting is to show that the setting is presented outside. Generally there are mainly low angle shots in this music video the reason for this is to make the characters look more powerful.


Another video that Drake has made is hotline bling this video uses styles such as bright colours which helps the background to stand out  also this helps the audience to realise how important drake is in the music as he is the main person the audience will be looking at. The type of convention that this music video uses is a allusion which refers to a event which made in the music video. The main type of camera angle which were used in this video was a close up of Drakes face which shows how powerful  he is in the video which indicates to the audience how important he is as the main character.

The third video Drake has made is sicko mode in this video the artist has used is cutting to the beat which most music videos uses this technique because to fits in with the music and makes the video more exciting to watch. The artist has also used a 3D animation which is making the audience want to watch the video more.  The use of equipment such as the shiny chains and luxury cars indicates how wealthy businessmen wear expensive clothes and have the money to drive fancy looking cars. Lastly the use of low angle shots such as Drake sitting in-front of a group of half naked women lying on the floor and giving him attention which is making him look very powerful however this can also make the other characters which are the women in this scene of the video look powerful as they are playing a very important role In the video by exposing their body.
